Paula Woods
Office Manager
Paula Woods started Diamond Builders more than 20 years ago with her husband Colin Woods. Diamond Builders has won over 60 awards including Best Homes in the QCBR Parade of Homes and President’s Club from Amwood Custom Homes.
Paula is from Mount Pleasant, IA and lives in Long Grove, IA with Colin and their daughter Avery. Paula is proud to be a supporter of North Scott High School’s Athletic Department and is an active member of the Eldridge/Long Grove community.

Colin Woods
General Contractor
Colin Woods is proud Diamond Builders is truly a family business having started the company more than 20 years ago with his wife Paula.
Diamond Builders has built more than 400 projects in the 20 years and won many awards along the way.
Colin is from Moline, IL and played collegiate basketball at Iowa Wesleyan University.
In addition to building homes, Colin is very proud to have been on the coaching staff of the 2019 & 2020 North Scott High School Lady Lancer basketball team that his daughter Avery played on. The team won the Iowa State Championship both of those seasons.

Joe Roozeboom
Project Manager
Joe Roozeboom is Diamond Builder’s project manager and brings with him a wealth of experience.
Joe was previously a construction manager and regional superintendent for Dyncorp and KBR. Joe successully completed over $250,000,000 worth of commercial projects for the U.S. Military.
Today Joe supervises many residential project schedules and works closely with our subcontractors.
Joe resides in Long Grove with his wife Susan and 3 children.

Amy Powell
Design Consultant
Amy Powell is Diamond Builders’ interior decorator/designer. She has been with Diamond Builders since 2018 and has assisted clients with their interior decorating choices during the building process, in Davenport, Eldridge, and the surrounding area.
Her goal is to turn a house into a home; to welcome her clients thoughts and ideas and help them achieve the home of their dreams. She resides in Eldridge with her husband, John, and their two children, Emma and Zach.
She loves watching her kids in their various sporting events, is an active member at Faith Lutheran Church in Eldridge, a member of North Scott Athletic Boosters, co-director of Feed Our Children, and her whole family is active in fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Cory Johnson
Team Member
Cory Johnson has been a valuable part of the Diamond Builders’ family for more than 10 years.
Cory helps with many projects around our job sites and developments. Cory is an asset to all of our clients and always has a smile on his face.
Cory currently lives in Davenport.
